We went to Freedom Fest at Liberty Park and had a blast! Addison is growing up so fast and surprising me at all the things that she can do! She slide down the jumbo slide over and over and over. Although, she wasn't very patient about waiting in line - we will have to work on that! She was upset when it was time to go home. She also jumped in the castle. Congrats to Auntie Em for winning the BankPlus drawing out of all those thousands of people!!!

We went to the Nichols Boyd Pumpkin Patch this afternoon for a hayride and lots of other exciting activities. We picked out our pumpkins then came home and carved them. It was a lot of fun!!! Thanks to all of my local friends for the suggestion.

A Day at the Jackson Zoo!

We woke up this morning with no afternoon plans so Lee suggested that we go to the Zoo! What a great idea - and I even had a coupon for one free admission so all for $6.00 we had a wonderful first trip to the zoo with Addison. She loved it and we will definitely be going back. The weather was perfect!!! Enjoy the slideshow...

MOO MOO MOO!!!

After an afternoon nap, we rode with Natalie and Jeremy to her parent's house to "help" feed the cows. Addison loves cows and she "mooed" the entire time we were there and all the way home!!!

Thanks Jeremy for letting me help! Next time I can show Kennedy how to take care of the cows and teach her how to "moo"

A View from the Cheap Seats!

Today, Addison and I stayed home and worked on cleaning out her dresser and closet. I pack a lot of clothes to store in the attic in diaper boxes. While I was going through the dresser, I turned around and my box was gone and the clothes dumped all over the floor. When I took a peek in the living room, I found my culprit enjoying Playhouse Disney from the diaper box!!!

Then, you guessed it...after folding clothes while I was putting them up I returned to find my little one in the laundry basket. She is such a busy body and incredibly entertaining!!!

We met Morgan and Haydn for Mexican Saturday night and Addison and I were so happy to get out of the house after being in all day! We found this outfit at Hudson's Friday night and I thought she looked so cute and her big bow finally stayed in her hair as long as she will stay still enough for me to get it in there good!!!

Happy early birthday Uncle Haydn. We are so sorry that we forgot the camera so that we would have a new picture to post on the blog - I hate to put the same one that I posted recently!

MSU vs. Tennesse

We went to Starkville this weekend for Addison's first MSU football game. We had a blast and can't wait to do it again soon. It was great seeing lots of people we haven't seen in a while. Addison was such a trooper!!!

We had a bunko group/neighborhood get-together last night at the Butler's. It was sooo much fun seeing everyone and catching up on all of our busy lives!

This is almost the whole gang! The Milner's got out right before we could get everyone together and happy since it was getting close to bedtime for many!

State Fair Petting Zoo!

We went to the State Fair on Sunday afternoon and had a blast (even though we were miserably hot at times)! Addison warmed up to the animals at the petting zoo and even enjoyed a couple of rides!

Spinning Dragons, Airplanes, ...

We rode a couple of rides and Mama is so excited that Addison has the potential to be her fearless riding partner in the future! Six Flags here we come!!!

Pick Up Ducks!!!

Lee and Addison played pick up ducks and won a stuffed dolphin! Addison could have cared less about the prize - she just wanted to catch more ducks! We had a great time at the fair and can't wait to go back next year.

Baby Camryn's Shower!

My best friend from high school, Nikki, is having a little girl, Camryn, the first of November and we had her a baby shower this weekend in Brooksville. It was so much fun and I got to see lots of people that I hadn't seen in a while and a few that had never seen Addison!

Check out that cake - it's like the ones on Ace of Cakes. Her husband's cousin makes these cakes in Birmingham!

Have you ever seen so many presents - I think Camryn is set for a while!
