Santa Pictures!

Wow! What a difference a year makes!!! Our little girl is growing up so fast...and this year she is old enough to not be too sure about Santa! She was so cute all through the line - dancing to the blaring Christmas music and everyone was commenting on how precious she was then one step inside the gate and that lip rolled out and the eyebrow went up and she was having second thoughts about Ho Ho!!! We hope everyone has a very merry Christmas - we can't wait to see all of our family. It should be a very fun and exciting Christmas with Addison this year!!!

Decorating the Tree!

After our Thanksgiving nap, we pulled out the Christmas decorations and Addison was a BIG help! She is in awe of all the lights and just points at the snow village on top of the entertainment center.

Then, we went to Da'be's house and helped her get decorated!

Make a slide show, scrapbook, or ecard Lee and I hosted Thanksgiving at our house this year because we both had to work on Friday. We really appreciate everyone traveling to spend the holiday with us! Lee cooked the turkey and did a great job - we had quite the feast when it was all laid out. We even used our china for the first time!

Playing Dress Up with Da'be!

Singing, Singing, ...

Addison has started singing all the time - I can't imagine who she might have gotten that from?!!! Her daddy has instilled music in her bones for sure! She has the tunes down to several recognizable songs - the Barney theme song is a favorite (I think they watch/learn it at daycare) as well as the "Hot Dog" song from Mickey Mouse and the ABC song. This video isn't her best because it was suppertime and she was a little distracted. Enjoy!

Lounging!

We bought this toddler sofa for Addison during the summer and she loves it! I guess maybe because it is her size...but she will fold and unfold it a thousand times. She sits and "reads" books to her babies on it and watches Playhouse Disney on the weekends...and as you can tell just lounges!!! We got this at Toys R Us - thought it might be a good Christmas idea for someone. These are two of my favorite pictures of her on it - Toto helped a little with the second one!

We went to the hospital tonight to see Jeremy, Natalie, and Kennedy. Kennedy is precious and Jeremy and Natalie are proud parents. Addison is real excited to have a new playmate!

Welcome Camryn Rae Higginbotham!

Nikki and Kellis welcomed baby girl, Camryn Rae, last night at 8:43 p.m. She weighed 8 lbs. 9 ozs. and was 22 inches long. I spoke with Nikki today and they are all doing well. I will post pictures when I receive some by email.

Trick-or-Treat!

Last night, we had a blast trick-or-treating with our neighbors! Lee brought home a ranger and trailer and we all loaded up and made the rounds. They all looked adorable in their costumes. I was real surprised at how quickly Addison caught on - after a couple of stops as soon as the trailer came to a stop she was up and waiting on someone to get her out then up the driveway she would go with her hand held out! On the last house, there were people dressed up and hiding in the bushes - Addison was made a beeline back to the trailer when she saw the mask!Enjoy the pictures!!!

We went to Freedom Fest at Liberty Park and had a blast! Addison is growing up so fast and surprising me at all the things that she can do! She slide down the jumbo slide over and over and over. Although, she wasn't very patient about waiting in line - we will have to work on that! She was upset when it was time to go home. She also jumped in the castle. Congrats to Auntie Em for winning the BankPlus drawing out of all those thousands of people!!!

We went to the Nichols Boyd Pumpkin Patch this afternoon for a hayride and lots of other exciting activities. We picked out our pumpkins then came home and carved them. It was a lot of fun!!! Thanks to all of my local friends for the suggestion.

A Day at the Jackson Zoo!

We woke up this morning with no afternoon plans so Lee suggested that we go to the Zoo! What a great idea - and I even had a coupon for one free admission so all for $6.00 we had a wonderful first trip to the zoo with Addison. She loved it and we will definitely be going back. The weather was perfect!!! Enjoy the slideshow...

MOO MOO MOO!!!

After an afternoon nap, we rode with Natalie and Jeremy to her parent's house to "help" feed the cows. Addison loves cows and she "mooed" the entire time we were there and all the way home!!!

Thanks Jeremy for letting me help! Next time I can show Kennedy how to take care of the cows and teach her how to "moo"

A View from the Cheap Seats!

Today, Addison and I stayed home and worked on cleaning out her dresser and closet. I pack a lot of clothes to store in the attic in diaper boxes. While I was going through the dresser, I turned around and my box was gone and the clothes dumped all over the floor. When I took a peek in the living room, I found my culprit enjoying Playhouse Disney from the diaper box!!!

Then, you guessed it...after folding clothes while I was putting them up I returned to find my little one in the laundry basket. She is such a busy body and incredibly entertaining!!!

We met Morgan and Haydn for Mexican Saturday night and Addison and I were so happy to get out of the house after being in all day! We found this outfit at Hudson's Friday night and I thought she looked so cute and her big bow finally stayed in her hair as long as she will stay still enough for me to get it in there good!!!

Happy early birthday Uncle Haydn. We are so sorry that we forgot the camera so that we would have a new picture to post on the blog - I hate to put the same one that I posted recently!

MSU vs. Tennesse

We went to Starkville this weekend for Addison's first MSU football game. We had a blast and can't wait to do it again soon. It was great seeing lots of people we haven't seen in a while. Addison was such a trooper!!!

We had a bunko group/neighborhood get-together last night at the Butler's. It was sooo much fun seeing everyone and catching up on all of our busy lives!

This is almost the whole gang! The Milner's got out right before we could get everyone together and happy since it was getting close to bedtime for many!

State Fair Petting Zoo!

We went to the State Fair on Sunday afternoon and had a blast (even though we were miserably hot at times)! Addison warmed up to the animals at the petting zoo and even enjoyed a couple of rides!
