Happy Birthday to Dear Daddy!

Addison loves to sing Happy Birthday and so she sang and sang happy birthday to dear Daddy all day and night! When I picked her up at daycare, they said that all she had been talking about all day was singing happy birthday to her daddy - how sweet!!! I took her to Wal-Mart and let her pick out a cake - she has been talking about Daddy's "blue birthday" for about a week now and none of us knew what she was talking about...well, guess what color cake she picked out - BLUE! Congrats, Dad, on another year, we enjoyed celebrating with you and hope to share in many many more!

Saturday Morning Playtime with my Princesses!

So, all of you know that Lee works every Saturday so that gives me lots of one-on-one time with my girls!!! Addison gots lots of play clothes for Christmas and she has a load of imagination that she is putting to work more and more every single day. I hope these pictures show even an inkling of the fun that we have - they are both priceless to me as well as each and every memory we make! Thanks Aunt Meg and KK for the beautiful dresses and thanks to Da'be for Maggie's princess outfit.

My two precious girls who can't get enough of each other!!!

Christmas at Da'be's (and GB and M's)

Here are a couple of pics at Da'be's house Christmas morning, which is also where Santa found us! We finished up our Christmas celebrations in Meridian at GB and M's house the day after Christmas. It was so much fun and Marilyn's nephew, Mac, made it a lot of fun for Addison. They ran around all night together then played Santa!!! Addison loves her Grannie!

I may not be rich or famous...but I have priceless GRANDKIDS!

It's for you GB!

Christmas at Nana's house!

Christmas morning, we headed over to Nana and Roe's around 10 and later had dinner at Nana's. As you can tell, we had a wonderful time and opened way too many presents. It was great having everyone home for Christmas this year and we enjoyed a great game of Catchphrase Christmas night. We can't wait for round 2 - we definitely entertained ourselves way too easily!
All the grandchildren - as you can tell - we like girls!!! Maybe Morgan and Haydn can give us a little boy!
Addison got a kitchen at Nana's and she is loving it - she is such a creative little chef and we have been enjoying lots of imaginary food!

Lee surprised me with the exercise bike that I have been wanting now that my gym membership is expired - now I just have to find some time and start using it!
Congrats to Kate and Nate who celebrated 9 years of wedded bliss a few days after Christmas!

Uncle Haydn getting a little practice!

All Molly wanted for Christmas was her two front teeth!

Christmas Morning!

(Please click to enlarge to keep from worsening eyesight!)
Well, Santa stopped by and spoiled the Lindley family once again...we had a wonderful day. Addison was a really good girl this year and Santa delivered with a hot pink Barbie Jeep! It was so much fun seeing her excitement when she rounded the corner and found it under the tree. She needs it to warm up outside a little so that we can give a few driving lessons! Toys have really come a long way - this Jeep has a "real" AM/FM radio that she definitely jams out to. Christmas morning, she loaded all of her stash into the Jeep, turned up the tunes, and started dancing!!! She may not know how to steer just yet, but she definitely knows her to work the radio! Addison's stocking was filled with lots of goodies and several old-time favorite toys. Her favorite item by far was the "whoopie cushion" and she would fall out in the floor belly-laughing when Maggie would "poot"! It was hilarious!!! Of course, Maggie had been a perfect little girl in her few months prior to Christmas and she will thoroughly enjoy her outdoor swing this spring. All of the activity wore her out and she curled up under the tree and caught a little shut-eye while Addison helped open her presents. She will be a blast next Christmas.

I hear the pitter patter of little feet...

Congrats to Aunt Morgan and Uncle Haydn - we can't wait to welcome Baby Roberts in August!!! Addison has been talking about getting a new cousin since we found out - I will have my video camera ready (I owe you big time; I only hope I can do as good of a job as you have).
After church, we headed to Starkville for Christmas Eve at Pap & Suzy's! We enjoyed a wonderful meal (thanks to Kate and Suzy) then watched the splendor of little ones tearing into gifts quicker than you could imagine! We had a wonderful Christmas and I am thoroughly enjoying my new decorations for my house!

Earlier that day, Addison baked cookies for Santa and his reindeer and NO ONE could have one until after Santa had gotten all that he wanted!!!

Christmas 2008 - Part One

Several of my classmates from elementary through high school have added new babies to their families and we were all fortunate enough to have been home for the holidays at the same time. We all met at Michele's house and had a great time letting all of our little ones "baby-talk" with each other while we caught up as well. It was so much fun and we hope to get together again this summer so that our children can know each other and grow up together just as we have!!!

Can you believe that we are all looking (sort of!)? I must say this is a pretty good pic for so many different kids! L to R: Addison, Nikki, Camryn, Briley, Nichole, Jessica, Lilli Kathryn, Braedon, Michele, Maggie, and me

Maggie, Lilli Kathryn, Braedon

These 3 were all due within a month of each other, but as you can tell by looking at my little chunky monkey, I am the only one that made it full term (lucky me!!!). Braedon came Sept. 25th (3 weeks early), Maggie came Oct. 8th (right on time), and Lilli Kathryn came Oct. 9th (3-4 weeks early). Briley is 9 months old, Camryn turned 1 on Nov. 5th, and Addison led the pack at 2 and a half! We had a blast and can't wait until this summer when the babies are on the move and we get back together with a few more new additions!
Our first Christmas celebration was at Aunt Linda's house with a good portion of the Lindley family. We have so much fun every year getting together and playing a good game of "Dirty Santa". This year, we added two new babies to the family pic - Beau and Maggie! Addison, Hailey, and Jay had a blast running around and playing together and thanks to Aunt Linda's gift, the Hannah Montana microphone, we all know the lyrics to "The Best of Both Worlds" - it is definitely running a tight race for Addison's favorite Christmas gift and I am having to keep a close watch on Lee to make sure that he doesn't "hide" it from her! This is most of the Lindley clan - we missed Kate, Nate, Sloan, Molly, Justin and Lauren Colby!

Jay, Hailey, Beau, Addison and Maggie - they sure had a blast running around!
Uncle Jason and Aunt Meg

Hannah Montana don't have nothing on these two!!!

Deck the Halls!

Well, we headed to Macon this year to spend the holidays with our family. It was wonderful! I was still on maternity leave so we got to spend the entire week of Christmas hanging out with our family and friends. Don't get me wrong - it was a full week of Christmas celebrations and so worth every minute of it (although, it has taken me several weeks to recover!). Kate, Nate, Sloan and Molly were in Macon for the whole week as well and we thoroughly enjoyed catching up and playing with them. They had not seen Maggie since the weekend she came home from the hospital so they were shocked at her growth. Anyway, I am going to try to devote a post to each party we attended so I thought I would start with our house decorated for Christmas and my two favorite people under the tree!

More to come later!
