Trick-or-Treating!

Happy Halloween! These were taken outside our house the morning before Halloween - the girls were dressed for their school parties!
Maggie's teachers had Halloween week and they dressed up all week (Spider Day-wear black, Pumpkin Day - orange, Scarecrow Day - overalls, etc) and on the last day they wore these matching painted t-shirts! Her teachers are so artistic and creative and I should have taken a picture of the back - it was her handprints in the shape of a spider hanging from a spider web!

Maggie's class
Saturday, we got to enjoy the company of all of my wonderful friends and their little ones! It is so great to have such a great group of friends that have grown up together and stayed in touch - we love you girls and boys!!!
We were in Macon/Starkville for Halloween this year and we had a blast sharing it with our family - we just hate that Lee didn't get to join us. Thanks especially to Pap and Suzy for getting a hayride together to take the girls around the neighborhood - they had soooo much fun!

Scary Princess - she loves her pink teeth!
Such a cutie and a monkey to the tee - she climbs up and on top of everything!

Maggie says, "Where is the candy everyone promised me - this is getting old!"

Pap and Maggie - every gorilla needs a monkey! But, it won't be Addie because she wouldn't even be in the same room much less get close enough to touch him even with out the head on!

Loving the hayride!
LC helped Maggie with her loot - she was all for trading her candy at every house!

Thanks Pap!
Working on getting our nerves up to trick-or-treat Pap as a surprise....maybe not!
Addison had so much fun with Marley!

And now, the monkey thinks she will have her a banana!
Pretty Princesses!

Watching the Bulldogs and Vikings!

Two weekends ago, we made a visit to Macon and Starkville to watch the Vikings and Bulldogs play! We went to Central Academy's Homecoming game and it was so great to see so many of our friends and take Addison to the school where we both grew up and played sports! Too bad this weekend had to be the weekend that it decided to be freezing (but at least the rain stopped!) so we left Maggie with Da'be and Grannie Frances!

At the Central game - isn't Addie cute as a Viking cheerleader (this used to be Lauren Colby's)!

On Saturday morning, we stopped by the Bakery (yum!) and headed straight to Starkville - we took Maggie straight to Pap and Suzy. It was too cold to have her out all day so we decided to let them bring her to campus later that afternoon for a couple of hours!

Love this picture of the girls and their daddy even if they are in all that State garb!!! Lee said that we will try to make it up to Oxford next year so the girls get to see where their Mama went to school!
Lee, Addison, and I headed to the Hump for a little basketball scrimmage - we love basketball!!!
We celebrated Uncle Tommy's birthday while we were tailgating!
Scared of this big Bully at first (imagine that!) but she warmed up to it!

While on campus, we met up with William, Becky, and Anna while they were visiting from Alaska! We are so proud of William for completing his tour of duty overseas and even more thankful to have him home safely!!! Maggie is one month and one day older than Anna - sure wish she could give Maggie even 1/4 of her hair!!!

Lee and I had a blast watching the MSU-FL game (sure wish they could have pulled it out!) and were very thankful that Pap and Suzy kept the girls for us during the game!
