Splish Splash!

For anyone that doesn't know, Addison adores Bailey! If you mention his name that is all she talks about and she runs to the front door so it is an understatement to say that she was soooo excited that they spent most of last Saturday together. Mamie had a baby shower at her house Saturday afternoon and Bailey came over to play then Mamie asked if we wanted she and Paul to keep Addison while Lee and I went out Saturday night. Are you kidding? That sounded great - we have needed a night out by ourselves for a while!!! We were so thankful for this offer. Lee and I went to the movies and saw The Bucket List - it was a great movie (highly recommend it). While we were gone, Bailey and Addison had a ball in the bathtub - Mamie said that everything was soaked. Happy Valentine's Day!

After leaving Addison's room Valentine's morning, we came into the kitchen to find these!!! Lee had Addison and I a dozen roses, a DVR receiver (that I have been wanting forever!), and a basket of candy!!! We were so excited and surprised - Addison kept saying "pretty" everytime she saw the flowers. She said "Pretty-Daddy" which made it so worth it to Lee - she is such a sweety! I think Lee is enjoying the DVR just as much (if not more) than I am. Hope everyone had a Happy Valentine's Day!

Dixie Nationals!

Addison loved the Dixie Nationals - we went last Thursday night when Craig Morgan was performing. She wasn't too fired up about the fireworks, but once the loud burst cleared she was fine! She talked non-stop the whole first half - too bad we couldn't understand what she was jabbering about for the most part! But I am certain she was having a good time. She kept showing everyone the cows and horses. Craig Morgan was great - we sang along with almost every song! Addison and I also went back on Saturday when Da'be was in town and had another fun-filled afternoon! Addison was so cute in her boots and jeans - cowgirl in training!!!

Addison's First Haircut!

Addison had her first haircut the weekend before Christmas. She did so good; I really don't think that she even knew what was going on - it probably helped that Da'be was the one doing the cutting. We just trimmed the back a little! She will enjoy her hairdresser also being her grandmother as she gets older. She will be able to take advantage of experimenting with her hair for free - just ask her Aunt CC!!!

Congratulations!!!

Toto and Auntie Em are expecting a baby!!! We are super excited about celebrating this exciting news with two of our closest friends. They both mean the world to Addison and life in Madison would not be the same without them. We can't wait to welcome your future bundle of joy! Congratulations to you both and we will be helping you countdown to August!!!

Happy Birthday Meg & Kate (and Aunt Pat!)

Meg, Kate, and Aunt Pat all celebrated their birthday on Feb. 1st! Jason, Meg's husband, planned a super secret surprise party at Easy Street for Saturday night. Everyone was in on it and Meg had noooo clue!!! Jason's band played and we had so much fun dancing all night long. Addison hit the dance floor the minute the music started playing and was going strong until her head hit the pillow at 1 A.M! We had so much fun visiting with everyone and can't wait to celebrate the next birthday bash! Happy birthday!!!
