Who does Addison look like?

Soooo, since Addison has been alive (or any other baby for that matter), everyone is always asking "Who does she look like?" and before I ever have a chance to say anything they decide that she looks like Lee. Or, they see her and say, "Oh my, she looks just like her daddy." Well, my mother cleaned out her attic during spring break and came across this picture:

This is MY sister (Carrie) at age 2! We have been blown away by their similarities and Lee has kind of gotten his feelings hurt that she might look like someone else and I am excited to know that I might have attributed a little bit to her gene pool.

Easter Pictures

We had a wonderful Easter and celebrated with lots of family! After church, we had dinner at my mom's house and Marianne, Meg, and Jason were able to join us as well. We had lots and lots of very good food - I was completely stuffed for our ride home!!! Can't wait to do it again at our next gathering!

Nana came down the weekend before Easter and took Addison shopping; they found this beautiful dress and with all the perfect accessories. Thank you, Nana, we love you!!!

Happy Hunting!

I have lots of photos from Easter so I might have to spread them out over a couple of days, but I will do my best since it was a wonderful weekend and a great celebration! We enjoyed spending every moment of this special weekend with our families. I have included a slideshow of the Easter Egg hunt on Saturday morning. It was a beautiful day and fun was had by everyone! Enjoy!!!

Addison has a secret...

For the few of you that don't already know...we are anxiously awaiting another one of God's greatest gifts! We will be adding to the Lindley family in October and are all super excited!!! My due date is October 14th (my birthday!) and I can't think of a better present to look forward to. Addison had a blast sharing the news with family and friends and we had fun seeing how long it took people to pick up on the secret message! I had my second appointment this morning and everything looked great - the baby's heartbeat was strong (150-160 bpm). Please keep us on your prayer list during this exciting time in our lives. So many of our friends and family are expecting bundles of joy during the fall/winter months and we are so excited to share in their journey.

Snug as a Bug!

Paps and Suzy came to see us a couple of weekends ago and Paps brought Addison this "cool" sleeping bag and she loves to cuddle up in it snug as a bug! Thanks Paps-we love you!!!

Isn't she precious!!!

It's Snowing!!!

It snowed at our house!!! Addison is going to think that it snows regularly here since it has sort of snowed twice in the last month - anyway we enjoyed the little bit of snow-dusting that we received. She enjoyed seeing it fall Friday night and then we went out briefly Saturday morning before it melted away into a beautiful afternoon!
This picture was taken Friday night before bedtime after a steady fall for a few hours

Daddy and Addison having a snowball fight!

Lee showed her that she could eat it and as you can imagine between each snowball thrown she picked up a little extra to eat!!!

Potty Training!?!!

Much to our surprise and excitement, Addison has decided that she wants to use the potty! She recently started telling us that she "poo pooed", but it was always after she had done the job and daycare mentioned that she was telling them as well. So, I asked Ms. Mary (her teacher at daycare) when they would start working with her at school because I sure didn't want to push her if they weren't going to be ready to help during the day. They won't start working with her until she moves up to the 2-year-old class, but hey if she is going to tell me when she has to go I'm sure not going to just ignore her! So, since the middle of February, when we are at home at night and on the weekends she has started saying "Poo-Poo Potty" or "Tee-Tee Potty" and we run to the potty and she usually goes every time. I hope this is a good sign for what is to come in the future! Don't get me wrong, there are still times when she is just too busy to stop and tell someone, but it sure would be nice to get a break from buying diapers!!!

You can thank the picture below to a "proud" daddy would wanted to take this picture!
