Father's Day 2010

Two very special men in our lives who we are very thankful for each and every day!

Anyone can be a Father, but it takes someone really special to be a Daddy!

We have a very special angel in heaven who is looking down on us and grinning from ear to ear - we love and miss you and wish you a Happy Father's Day too!

Summer Daze!

We have been thoroughly enjoying these summer daze!!! The girls have been on the slip-n-slide, swimming in the big pool at Pap and Suzy's, wading around in their little pool on the deck, and both of them swim once a week with their friends at daycare - so needless to say they are sporting some good tans! We have been traveling a lot lately visiting lots of friends and family and loving every moment of it!

Maggie decided that it was more fun to play in her clothes (she is not real fond of the tight-fitting swimsuits!)

And...you know it didn't take too long for big sister to join her!

Two tired little girls early one morning before school!

This was while Maggie was recovering from the horrible croup - she loves to sit on the coffee table
You have to look real close, but Maggie put on Addison's panties over her diaper one day while Lee was home with her and of course she has on a pair of shoes!
Addison and baby Carson
Maggie has started putting the I-Touch up to her ear and saying "Hello" - how quickly they learn!

This past weekend, Marianne's sister Sue and her daughter Mary Beth made a quick trip to Mississippi. They used to live in California and have recently moved to Texas. The last time that we saw them I was 8 months pregnant with Addison! It was really great to visit and introduce the girls to them even if it was only for a short time.

Addison's 4th Birthday Party!

I cannot believe that I have a 4 year old!!! She is growing up soooo fast, but she is so sweet and so much fun! For the first time, Addison told us exactly what kind of birthday party theme she wanted as well as where she wanted to have her party & what the birthday girl wants...well this year she got it!!! And I must admit...it was definitely worth it to be able to show up and enjoy a birthday party without having to stress over all the preparations and set up. I truly got to enjoy the party (and play too!). I must say that I believe EVERYONE of all ages had a BIG time!!! Addison had a grand time with all of her friends and fell into a "drooling" sleep on the way home. By the way, the cake was made by a 17-year-old girl from Pearl and besides the fact that it was absolutely adorable it was also delicious (Addison even specified she wanted strawberry cake)! Thanks again to all who helped us celebrate!

Catch Up with the Lindley Girls!

Well...I know that it has been a REALLY long time since I have done a proper post on the blog soooo I am posting pictures from the last couple of months to give you a glimpse into what the Lindley clan has been up to!

Back in April, we had the privilege of keeping the Kosko boys while their parents went to a wedding. Bailey and Addison are 8 months apart and Garrett and Maggie only 5 days! They used to live right across the street and we miss them sooo much. It was a blast to watch the 4 of them play together again!

We became "Friends of the Zoo" so there will be many trips to the zoo in our future!
We met 2 of the 3 Cade families one Sunday afternoon and all of the kiddos had a big time - can't wait for baby Jack to join us next year!
Mason and Maggie "cruisin" in the Barbie Jeep - really they were just "jammin" since neither one of them can reach the peddles yet!
Lots and lots of goofing off in the past couple of months...
A little waterhose fight...
Oreos and Milk...who could resist?!!
Addison and I made bracelets for both her and Maggie!
Maggie's shoe fetish is still going strong!
Meg and Jason took Addison to the rodeo and she has dressed up as a cowgirl almost every Saturday since - needless to say she had a grand time!
Everybody loves to get some "Moo-Bear" kisses...this was before she got REAL stingy with her kisses in the last week!
Addison and some her friends from "school" at her end-of-year program
They did a wonderful job - it brings joy to my heart every time she sings her christian nursery rhymes and quotes her bible verse that her class was responsible for presenting. Below is a picture of the entire 3 & 4 year old classes presenting some of their songs from Chapel Time. I can't begin to explain how moving it was to hear these little ones sing and do the motions to "Our God is an Awesome God" & "Here I Am to Worship". It was also a lot of fun to see their excitement as they say "Pharoah Pharoah"

Well...that about sums up our busy last couple of months!
