Happy Valentine's Day!

We spent Valentine's Day with the Norris' and had a blast! It is not often enough that we get to spend time with our lovely nieces and their parents! Sloan and Molly both had basketball games that Saturday and we wanted to make sure that we were able to see them in action this year (Kate and Nate coach Molly's team). It is late and I need to go to bed so I will let my smilebox tell the details of our trip. Thanks Kate, Nate, Sloan and Molly for a fun-filled action packed weekend...we can't wait to return the favor and supply the fun when y'all make a trip to Jackson. We owe Sloan and Molly big time for all of their help with Addison and Maggie; they are natural little babysitters!

Pap had another gunshow this past weekend so he and Suzy spent the whole weekend with us and we had so much fun! We definitely enjoyed some good meals and Suzy even helped Mom get her house back in order before they left...it is amazing how fast Addison can pull out ALL of her toys!!!

How about that for some Sleeping Beauties...I love it!

Maggie - 4 months old

I can't believe my little Maggie is already 4 months old! She is growing up so fast - she can hold her head steady, is sleeping from 8-10 hours a night without waking at all!, grabs everything within reach (including Addie's hair when she gets too close!), rolls up on both sides, and does the cutest little sucking motion with her tongue and top lip! We went for her 4 month check-up on Monday and her stats are below - all in all in a very healthy growing little girl!
Height: 25.5 inches (90th percentile)
Weight: 14 lbs. 11 oz. (80th percentile)
Head: 41.5 cm. (75th percentile)

Below are some of my favorite pictures from the last month!

Addie decorated Maggie and her chair with lots of stickers!

The Grandparents have been visiting...

Since I haven't been able to keep current on my posts, I have combined pictures from visits from all of the grandparents at different times over the last two months. We have really enjoyed them making time to come visit us and keeping us from having to load down the car and travel with two little ones!
Da'be came and played dress-up, paper dolls, and kitchen!

Nana and Da'be came last weekend and we strolled around the Renaissance and went to church!

Addison and Maggie want all of their grandparents to come back again soon - they had so much fun receiving your undivided attention and playing all weekend!

Bailey's Birthday Party and Maggie's Playdate!

We went to Pump It Up a couple of weekends ago for Bailey Kosko's 2nd birthday party and we ALL had a blast! It is so much fun to be able to play and experience the joys of childhood with your children before they get too big to need your help! Thanks Mamie and Paul for a fun-filled afternoon!

We also made a trip to the hospital the Friday night before the party to see our good friends (and neighbors) Jill and Chad Westmoreland who welcomed three beautiful and stong little girls to their family on January 20th. It is absolutely amazing to see the grace of God shine through such tiny infants...they are thriving and hopefully will be home to Prescott Ridge real soon. Mamie, Paul, Bailey, Addison, Lee and I all made the trip to the hospital, but we were fortunate enough that my mom made it into town before we left that Friday night and she kept Maggie and Garrett for us. She had a wonderful time and below are a few pictures from their "playdate" (they were born 5 days apart). I am sure that Addison and Bailey enjoyed a night away from having to share their attention as well - they were too funny sitting beside each other in the car watching their movie and singing songs!!!

Random pics around the house...

This is how we eat most of our suppers...Maggie has to be able to see what is going on and Addison has to be able to hold Maggie's hand while saying the blessing!
Maggie is such a happy little girl...she is constantly giving out smiles and giggles - who could resist that face?!!
We tried a bathtime somewhat together - it was a little difficult, but Addison loved the fact that Maggie was taking a bath with her

Addison finally got to ride a horse!

After Christmas, we went out to Anna Hailey's house with CC to let Addison ride a horse. She loved it!!! She absolutely thinks horses are the greatest thing ever and is not scared at all. She had so much fun and still talks about it all the time. Thanks Anna!
