Last Sunday, we had Maggie baptized in mine and Lee's home church. This was very special for us - all of our family was in attendance and this is the church where we were married and Addison was baptized! Rev. Whiteside did a beautiful ceremony and Maggie was perfect! I was really nervous since she is a very active and vocal 1-year-old. She couldn't have been any cuter! I must say that God definitely knows when put an assuring hand on your heart. As the preacher started to walk Maggie around the congregation, the choir starting softly singing the beautiful hymn "Surely the Presence". It was a tap on the shoulder letting me know my Daddy was making sure that we knew that he was right there with us in this special ceremony even if it did make almost everyone in the church shed quite a few tears! Thanks to everyone who made a special trip or had a special part in this wonderful time in our lives. Got lots of great family pics as well!
